my book review of the pendulum kit by sig lonegren

i just had a very interesting experience with my own modified version of the three coins exercise on page 27:
i took three 10 cent euro coins and placed them in a triangle formation. one coin was dated 1999, another 2000 and the third 2002. the point of the experiment was to find the coin that had the 2002 date on it.

not knowing which coin was where i told the pendulum to oscillate between the 2 coins that did not have the date 2002 on them. this experiment should then ideally only require one round to find the 2002 coin. it should be the coin that the pendulum does *not* oscillate to.

experiment 1:
it oscillated between 2 coins. when i looked at the 3rd coin, it did not have the date 2002 on it. it should have been the 2002 coin. i decided to try again only this time with the 2 remaining coins and repeated the same command, so i placed the pendulum at the point where the 3rd coin was previously and asked the pendulum to now oscillate towards the coin that did not have the date 2002 on it. this time it oscillated towards the coin that did not have the date 2002 on it. i.e. the first round it gave the wrong answer and the second round it gave the correct answer.

experiment 2:
this time i decided to do the exact same thing only treat the first answer which was "wrong" as the right answer (ultimately picking out the coin with the 2002 date on it using the pendulum). i got the same result this time as well. the first answer was wrong and the second answer was right.

run 3:
i got the exact same result, a third time in a row! the 2002 coin was among the first 2 coins and the second round, it was the coin that the pendulum *didnt* oscillate towards.

wrong first, right the second time. what an interesting pattern! it repeated itself 3 times in a row, 100% effective.

update: i just tried the same thing again and the same pattern emerged for the 4th consecutive time! false the first time and true the second time =)

wow, very interesting. i continued reading in the book and it says on page 28:

put the coin on the table heads up, and hold your pendulum over it. it will go from the search position into your yes response. now turn the coin over, and see how your pendulum goes into a no response. (these responses could be reversed -- it doesnt matter.)

how funny =) thats exactly what i just experienced.

update: now i just tried the "heads up" exercise on page 28. i got the "wrong" answer 7 times out of 10. according to the book this is statistically important. (the 10 cent euro coin had the year 2000 on it). although, i didnt do the experiment 100% correctly because the book says to have a friend who records whether it landed heads or tails and to not let you know the results before the end. i had to keep track of the results myself, so i could see how well the pendulum was responding. ill have to try it again later, with a friend.

on my plane ride home from holland last night i did an experiment with playing cards:
i put the cards A, 2, and 3 of spades face down and shuffled so i didnt know which was which and placed them on my lap.
i held the pendulum over each one asking "is this the ace of spades?" until i got a yes, asking after every question "is this the truth?"
i did this test 2 times and found the ace both times!


update 20100505

i repeated the playing card test today using the same cards.
round 1: it answered correctly the first card i placed the pendulum over, but i decided this time to check the other ones just in case and the second card i chose the pendulum oscillated stronger so i figured it was that one, but i turned it over and it was the 3.
i then turned the first card over that i got a yes on and it was the ace =)

then things got weird.
round 2: i felt drawn to a specific card so i put the pendulum over it and asked if it was the ace and followed up with the truth question, confirming that "no" this wasnt the ace. i turned the card over and it was the ace.
i decided to try again, the third round, this time taking a "no" as a "yes"

round 3: i again felt drawn to a specific card and ran the test. i got no and it was the ace.

round 4: exact same as round 3.

conclusion: i was drawn towards a specific card and it was the ace, the first card i asked about, every time, irrespective of yes or no. and from round 3-4 it seemed as if my subconscious went into negative mode and knew that i would pick the card i got a "no" on (since thats what i did in round 2) so it gave me "no" on the correct card instead of a "yes".

the mind is a tricky thing =)

i had someone hide something for me in a room and both times (i did the test twice) i didnt find it using the pendulum.

then i gave the 3 cards to my coworker and told him to mix them up without showing me and i found the ace on the first try!

then he suggested i try with 5 cards and find a different number. i did this 2 times and failed both times.

i dowsed for winning lotto numbers for norsk tipping lotto tonight and got 4 correct out of 7. one of the other numbers i got was 1 off from one of the 3 additional numbers drawn. i made my own "fan" map/chart like the 0-100 chart in sigs book, but for numbers 1-34.

i just did the zodiac chart dowsing experience and got the following results:
* how is my love life? profound sensitivity (totally matches my personality, and this is something im working on controlling a little better)
* what makes me happy? being understood (im not sure that this is very accurate, it is important to me, but i think what really makes me happy is learning and obtaining my desires and seeing that my family is happy)
* what would be a good career (change) for me now? the pendulum went to "go to zodiac page 62", which them immediately pointed to sagittarius, so i went to that page and it gave me "philosopher" (which i think would totally fit me!)
* what health issues do i need to be aware of? forgetfulness (i at least have a very selective memory =)

but then sig writes immediately after the test these interesting words:

while it is always nice to hear something that confirms what you already know, i urge that you pay most attention to the answer(s) that dont make immediate sense. they are important and should be kept in mind during subsequent readings.

then sig suggests on page 49 that you can dowse your partners love life to see if there is anything you can do to help the relationship, and i got "soul unions"

prayer experience - find the pendulum

the other day i couldnt find one of my pendulums, i tried using another pendulum to find it, but with no luck (although it was in one of the 2 places the pendulum said it was). i prayed to god that he would return it to me soon. a couple of days later my wife found it, not far from where i saw it last, and in a place i swear i looked before (i looked through the whole house!)...

my first hoodoo spell - honey jar sweetening spell

tonight i did my first hoodoo spell and the candle is burning as i write =) i did a honey jar sweetening love spell
the funny thing was that the only red candle i could find in the house was one made/rolled out of honeycomb =) double the sweetness!
for the oil i used a baby oil which has a special meaning between me and the person i am casting the spell on ;) (wink)
the first time i tried writing the intention around the name cross i lifted the pen accidentally so i had to start over =)
and even though my hair isnt long i was still able to tie the two hairs together =)
i forgot to take a picture of the spell paper before i put it into the honey jar....dangit!

i like the symbolism of the ring enclosing the name(s). i used cursive handwriting to completely "seal" the circle.
i also used just plain, white, lined notebook paper.

i did the spell for/on my wife because i havent really been feeling any kind of attraction from her lately, so ive been feeling lonely/unvalued (and yes i also communicate verbally my feelings too, i just wanted a booster =). this is what i managed to write in a circle around our crossed names:

in cursive, so the two end "desireme"'s connected, but i dont think it really matters =)
that night my wife came home from belly dancing class and i didnt notice any reaction/effect. the next day after i got home from work i was feeling really depressed for about 2 hours. i remember saying the following while doing the spell (according to the version on luckymojo: ):
As this honey is sweet to me, so will i become sweet to (my wife).

after those 2 hours of depression i went downstairs and told my wife i had been feeling depressed today "because i feel like youve been distant and we have been close or made love in a while". i dont remember exactly what she said but it was to the effect that what i said was sweet and it makes her want to be close to me, when i share my feelings like that. needless to say, we were really close the rest of the night and *really really close* after we went to bed, if you catch my drift =)

my experiences with pendulum divination

i have a great little book called pendulum power (PP) that i started reading yesterday. i highly recommend it. it is packed with good practical information and instruction, has a good history of pendulum divination, stories, experiences and best of all the authors advise the student to take a scientific approach to its use. (i guess im also going to make this post a PP book review =)

i have 2 different pendulums:
* a crystal in the shape of a teardrop, its plastic and hangs from a piece of plastic fishing line
* a small brass colored metal one in the shape of a round (spinning) top or right-side-up onion with an extended point at the bottom hanging from a piece of thread. this one i purchased: the pendulum kit


i started testing my pendulum kit pendulum about 2 weeks ago (late march, early april) i think, before i started reading PP. my approach was simple:
1. dont think of the answer, dont want a particular answer
2. hold the pendulum up against my forhead while bending over so that my hand wouldnt move (it was pressed against my forehead)

experiment 1: ask questions i knew the answers to. every question i asked was answered correctly.

experiment 2: i went through a series of 34 numbers for a lotto drawing and needed 7 numbers. it answered yes on 7 different numbers, no less. 3 of them were right (1 of the 3 was an extra number. there are 2 extra numbers drawn, so a total of 9), 2 of them were 1 off and 1 of them was reversed (32 instead of 23). 1 of the numbers was also the jackpot number that needs to be drawn in order to release the jackpot.

experiment 3: i asked last night (20100417) if a relative of mine who is pregnant would have a boy and it answered yes. we'll see what happens =)

i read several interesting things in PP today:

Bovis theorized that the earth has positive magnetic currents running north to south and negative magnetic currents running east to west. ... And as Bovis claimed, adamantly, subtle currents affected all structures on the surface of the earth. He found that any body placed in a north-south axis would become more or less polarized. His researched showed that human bodies were curiously affected by these magnetic lines of force.

this made me think of how i sleep. i have been sleeping in an east-west direction for the past 2-3 years. i think ill try and switch to sleeping in a north-south to see if i can gain any positive effects. the funny this is that the 2 happiest people in our family have beds facing north-south!

vibratory currents, he discovered, emanated from the open eyes of each and every one of us.

i would really like to read more about his findings/tests/results if anybody knows where i can look? i have always wondered how we as humans, many times, can feel that someone is looking at us and this would be a possible explanation =) very interesting.

simple ideomotor effect experiment

i taped the end of my pendulum string on the edge of a table, with just enough string hanging out so i could hold on to it. now it was impossible for me to physically move the pendulum. i tried doing it with my mind and it wouldnt move. when i hold the pendulum freely (not taped to the table) it moves (although i cannot see my self moving it and im trying to hold my hand still as possible).

i see the use of the pendulum as a good way to communicate with my subconcious/higher self (who for all i know can also retrieve information from the universe/other sources), so even if the moving of the pendulum is the ideomotor effect, the result, i believe, is the same.

i was talking to HH today about my study of the pendulum and about the ideomotor effect and how it is crazy that even though im sure that it is me somehow moving the pendulum, that i cant see my hand moving. then he suggested that maybe the human aura/energy also helps, since it supposedly radiates a little outside of our physical body. i wonder how i could test this?

the pendulum telepathy experiment
last night i was reading on page 69 about how joseph and greg used telepathy to get steve to call them about something important. at the end of the chapter they write:

we hope that others will experiment along these lines so that new data can be added to this most important New Age science.

 so decided to try it =) i found a picture of my wife (it was even over 10 years old) and put it on my lap and held the pendulum over it and started the think the words "call me tonight instead of just sending an sms". the pendulum started to move around in the positive motion and then stopped like after 30 seconds only and then stood completely still for about 2-3 minutes while i continued to think those words. i did it also (implementing a scrying tip from carrol poke runyon) without blinking the entire time. my wife sent me an sms (i told her earlier to send me an sms when she got back to her hotel room safely) and i went to bed thinking i needed maybe to just practice some more. i told my wife the next day what i had tried to do and she told me she had actually thought about calling me last night =) so my telepathic message went through after all!

im only about a fourth of the way through, but on pp 22-24 there is a really cool version of the creation of the world/universe. a little book, but really interesting so far!

update 20100411: i finished this book while on vacation in italy a couple of days ago. i found it quite interesting. i hope to get some time to "try it out".

prayer/meditation experience - find the ds

my son couldnt find his nintendo ds today so my wife and my son asked if i could ask my inner self to see where it was. i have been reading a book called psychic development for beginners so i used the count down 3 2 1 technique described in the book. i got 2 images in my mind of where i should look. i found the ds in the second place i felt i should look =) thank you god/universe/collective consciousness =)

healing and prayer

the other day my family was going to go on a walk, i was sick, so i stayed home, but i, for some reason, decided to ask god that they all would be safe and come home safely (i hadnt asked this for many days i dont think). my son jumped out of a tree and landed on a metal rod on his back. i was told that the doctors words were "he must have had a guardian angel" because had he landed slightly different, the rod couldve poked into his skin and punctured a lung or something. he had landed in a way that it only scraped his back (about the size of a half of a banana. my wife did a healing on him before they took an xray of his back. he hadnt broken any ribs. the next day we were to go to his doctor to change his bandage and i remember the doctor and the nurse remarking several times how odd it was that the wound had healed so quickly, they asked several times "when did this happen?" and they found it hard to believe that it happened less than 24 hours ago because the skin had attached itself so much to the mesh netting under the bandage. it took them 1.5 hours to detach it. i am glad that my prayer was answered, that my son was protected against something really dangerous and that my wife was able to speedy up his healing. my son went back to the same doctor and nurse again today for the second change of bandages and they told my wife that they had never seen anything like this rapid healing before.

grimorium verum - for hearing a pleasant music - experience

this spell/work seemed pretty straight forward and simple to implement so i tried it today. i drew the sigil of klepoth inside a circle and cut it out (cut a square around the circle so the piece of paper was a square; it was just easier and i thought id try to see if the shape was significant; i dont think it was). i recited the names out loud while sitting in the bathroom and holding the "circle". i didnt hear anything audible right away so i closed my eyes and began to meditate and listen inside of me, i quickly started hearing music in my head, but it was like i was directing the music and had composed it and decided how it should unfold. i imagined myself in a giant darkened concert hall with tons of spectators. i was standing in front of my own symphony/orchestra and conducting the most intense orgasmic display of classical music the world has ever seen. everyone in the audience started having a mass orgy (or at least with the people they were there with, not necessarily with strangers). i remember mostly a combination of piano and stringed instruments, particularly violins and chellos. it lasted for the longest time. and what was interesting was that when i tried stopping the concert it would quickly pick right up again; it was like i was in control, but at the same time i wasnt. it was to me a hint that it wasnt just my imagination/creation involved here. very very interesting and enjoyable experience! thank you klepoth (and the other 10 words/names/entities?) =)

goetia dream working - experiment 1

last night i was reading in Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic in the section about practical goetic magick. one of the suggestions to make contact with goetic demons was through a dream working. i put the sigil/seal under my pillow and since the entity i was going to contact was a duke, the QQGM suggested that one uses either an emerald or a carbuncle (green vs red > opposite colors) stone. since i had neither of them i used my green moldavite stone and taped it to my third eye (center of the forehead). my dream had apparently nothing to do with my dream working intention, but i recorded all the details i could remember (a lot, when you start writing right when you wake up =).

i also used a text on dream working from the book wiccan magic: inner teachings of the craft in preparation before i went to sleep.

evp farting sound during spirit board session experience

i got the movie How to Contact Spirits Vol. 2, then i did a session with a spirit board saturday night and i recorded the session with a video camera and a really good audio recorder. when i played it back after i was done i heard at one point a pretty loud farting sound for like 4 seconds, it was crazy. i would have totally heard something like that if it had been a natural sound. ill upload it when i get the time. i hadnt used a spirit board since i was in highschool, so it was fun to do it again. i did it solo and i could totally feel the planchette being pulled by a spirit. it might sound weird but it was a comforting feeling, although i dont think the person i made contact with was the person i was trying to contact because everytime i asked a question it would just go to random letters, like:

it was a homemade board. i also forgot to put numbers on it and i added some phrases to it like:

it was all in norwegian. well ive ordered a glow in the dark one online so we'll see if that works any different (i cant imagine it would make a difference).

possible taste of kundalini?

i bought a shakti mat yesterday and tried it out. i couldnt stay on it for very long, and i tried many times. the reason was not because it was painful, but because when i lied down this psycho amount of energy down in my groin would quickly build up and it felt like it wanted to explode out of my body. when i got up, it would slowly fade away after a couple of minutes. i wondered if this was maybe the kundalini energy?

update: on the kundalini wikipedia page it says kundalini is "a corporeal energy - an unconscious, instinctive or libidinal force or *Shakti*, envisioned either as a goddess or else as a sleeping serpent coiled at the base of the spine"
it looks like i might be on to something =)

things i always thought were strange about the lds church

i grew up a member of the lds church and after a recent intense period of reading, researching and rethinking, im finally seeing it for what it is: a very wealthy church, who, for the most part are trying to teach people to do good. but it is not everything it claims to be.

here are some things ive always thought were strange (this will be an ongoing list):
* claiming how special and unique the book of mormon was and how many members there have become over the years. i always compared this claim to the koran and islam. the koran is larger and there are *way* more muslims than mormons.

* healing and prophecy. i believe these things exist. i dont think the church has the monopoly though. i was recently discussing these things with an lds friend who expressed that he believed that non-lds (or men who do not have the priesthood) who healed people were doing it by the power of the devil. i remember being taught this several times as a missionary. i always thought this was bogus. it is bogus and i think i was able to convince my friend how silly that notion is, simply by recalling the lds pioneer story about the woman who healed an ox that was wounded. the lds church doesnt teach its priesthood holders to heal animals (i think you would get called in for a meeting with the bishop if anybody heard you had done something like that) and only priesthood holders (men) give blessings (heal people). concerning prophecy, there are tons of people in and out of the church who have this gift. and what have been the real huge prophecies in my lifetime in the church? somebody asked me once and i seriously didnt have an answer. it was embarassing =)

* greatly varying opinions on sexual matters like oral sex, masturbation and birth control.
oral sex: the bottom line is noone in the church has the right to tell you what you and your wife/husband can and cant do in your bedroom. i had bishops who have said oral sex is a sin while others said that the church has no policy. my mother told me that her bishop even asked her once (or several times?) if she performed oral sex on her husband. she told him it was none of his business.
masturbation: there is literally no scripture in *any* of the lds standard works about masturbation, yet it is unanimously accepted as being a sin. but again, bishops always had a difference of opinion about its sinful severity. (i guess youre asking to yourself and giggling "how does he know?" yes. i have masturbated. masturbation is actually a great tool/help especially in relationships where the level of sexual desire of partners is very unbalanced.) i am currently reading an interesting book called masturbation: the history of a great terror. i suggest every religious person read it.

* how everyone in general conference puts on some fake voice/way of speaking while praying or giving a talk.

* why church needed to be so long?!

* why people would get their children to bear their testimony and use words like "i know". along the same lines: i could never imagine 8 year olds really being eligible to be deemed sinners and how in the world they could choose and know what they are doing when they get baptized.

* how my mission president taught how vital it was to take the sacrament, that if you died after doing something wrong and werent able to take the sacrament before you died, that somehow your repentance wasnt complete. i always thought that was ridiculous.

* how much more relaxed and open about everything in general i was compared to everyone else in the church

* how sunday never seemed to be a day of rest, especially after starting my own family. it was almost always a day of stress. thats "rest" with 2 extra s's.

* why did it matter how people dressed to come to church?

* why most of the church leaders always seemed to be rich and/or businessmen.

* why the church was never open about issues like polygamy. i never remember any lesson ever addressing this topic specifically. it was like the church was ashamed of it and tried to just keep it in the past, while it was a major part of the early church history.

* why talks and articles and even the scripture footnotes often refer to "history of the church" volumes, but these have never been available online.

in his talk An Apostle’s Witness of the Resurrection, President (why wouldn't they write Prophet instead?) Howard W. Hunter says:

Paul bore his apostolic witness of the Resurrection again in his letter to the Saints at Corinth:

“Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? … For the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.” (1 Cor. 9:1–2.)

you would expect Hunter to say something like:
I humbly testify that I too have seen Jesus Christ. Am I not an apostle? (Am I not the prophet of jesus christ's one and only true church?)

the lds institute program teaches that all apostles and prophets have knowledge of jesus christ (the church also teaches that knowledge is different from faith):

Remember that Amos had seen the Lord and received His message. All the prophets through the ages have had a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and have testified of His mission

the lds church and its finances

when asked by somebody "why would you want to know about what the lds church leadership does with its money?", i have several responses:
* why wouldnt i want to know how the money i have been donating for over 25 years is being used?
* i have worked as a ward financial secretary several times for a period of several years and the church leadership has strict rules and checks to see what we were doing with the money, so why shouldnt it go both ways? a majority of the church members have literally no way of knowing how the church funds are being spent.
* unless the church funds are literally only being administered by angels (no pun intended), then it seems only rational to have transparency to protect the finances from human error and abuse.
* i have always been taught that the lds church has no paid clergy. there are rumors that some church leaders are earning 6 figure and up towards 7 figure salaries. what would you think about that if that was proven to be true?

Q. i'm wondering what the most recent significant revelations from prophets of the lds church are?

nancy winchester married to joseph smith before she was 16

some say nancy was married to joseph smith at 14 and some say 15. the fact is that she could have at most have been 15 years old. here's why:
nancy winchester was born on august 10, 1828.
joseph smith was murdered on june 27, 1844. nancy was still 15 years old.
nancy winchester was married ("for time", thats lds for non-temple/eternal marriage) to heber c kimball on october 10, 1844.
in the same record it shows she was married to joseph smith on february 3, 1846. but joseph was dead. this means she was sealed [celestial/temple/eternal marriage] to him in the temple, for time and all eternity. this is the evidence that her marriage to heber c kimball was for time, and that she had been married to joseph smith earlier, before his death, otherwise she would have just been sealed to heber c kimball. thus, nancy was at most 15 years old when she married joseph smith when he was alive.

interestingly, the record also shows that nancy was married to yet another man later on, amos arnold, even before heber c kimball died. i found one persons opinion as to the reason for this:

i thought this was interesting. both names end in sus, dionysus and jesus. both are born of a virgin and both can be deemed as saviors (ragnar redbeard's might is right or survival of the fittest) =)

god a heavenly father

it is difficult to imagine god as a heavenly father according to how he is portrayed in the bible. god seems more like a powerful entity one should fear, but also who one can ask for help.

i am beginning to lean more towards a view of god as a powerful creator instead of a "father". i am thankful for what i feel have been hundreds if not thousands of "answered prayers", meaning i have gotten what ive asked for. but i, in no way, know god to the degree that my own children know me, their father. the whole idea that god is our father and has sent us here to earth and wiped out our memory of premortal life so that we can prove our obedience and show faith, as taught by lds doctrine, seems rather unnecessary to me. if the point is that we show our worthiness by obedience, this test is still valid even if we know who god is. we are presented with commandments and we still would have to exercise our free agency and choose to be obedient in the face of "temptation". i mean, such an existence has already happened according to lds doctrine in the great council of heaven. there everyone was presented with a choice, to choose jesus' plan or lucifers plan. we knew god and were given a choice to be obedient to god. so we had to choose to be obedient to god by choosing jesus' plan that would test our obedience to god again. only this time, we're going to be born not knowing who he is, he will never show himself to us (except maybe for a few people), you have to be perfectly obedient by the time you die, to be able to come back to live with him. but some might say "but we chose this, we chose to follow jesus' plan". but if we didnt choose this, then we would not get physical bodies and would be banished as devils, together with lucifer. what choice did we really have?

lon milo duquette's my life with the spirits - my book review

lon's autobiography, my life with the spirits, is witty, funny, humble and full of interesting stories and first hand experiences with magick. i couldnt and didnt want to put it down! i read it in two consecutive nights. i think if i were to pick the one greatest thing i learned from this book was his account of his first goetic evocation where he was giving the entity a deadline and felt that the entity was trying to change lon's mind to stretch the deadline and not make it so short and when he realized it he got angry and shouted and commanded the entity to stop and to obey his deadline. i recognize myself in that situation and thought "i can do the same thing", banish all doubt and creators of doubt. i control what i want. i control my mind. there are other things i learned from this book too. i definitely recommend it to everyone who isnt an omnipotent magickian (everyone) =)
i have not been so enraptured in a book since highschool, reading my double digit collection of dean r koontz novels (i dont read novels anymore).

questions for the lds church

im labeling this one uq AND aq because i feel at least some of these questions are rhetorical. this is an ongoing list of things i have been thinking about for a long time.

heres a simple case set:
you are a father/mother and have 4 children; sonA and daughterA choose to be baptized and become members of the lds church and sonB and daughterB chose not to become a member, but all live equally "worthy",

* the gift of the holy ghost - an "open line" to guidance from god as long as one lives "worthy".
would you restrict or down-prioritize contact with sonB because he chose not to be baptized (lower himself down into some water), even though he lived just as "worthy" as sonA? would you be less inclined to speedily help daughterB when she asked you for help or guidance?
(this is an example of one of the rhetorical questions =)

along the same lines, if we are asked to have unconditional love, to mirror jesus christ, in other words, god/jesus christ have unconditional love, and god is no respecter of persons, then i cant get this to add up.

* also similar to the previous question, if baptism is a requirement to return to god and live with him and inherit everything he has. would you give your children a mandate that they must lower themselves underneath water and make them promise to be obedient to you, otherwise they get no inheritance or a lot less inheritance from you when you die? and furthermore, not be allowed to live in your presence forever more? i dont know of anybody on earth who does this, although there might be some who do, but i think the general public opinion would think that person is unloving and wicked and unfair. if daughterB said to you, "father, i dont see any point in lowering my self down in some water, but i will promise to live to be as loving and nice of a person as daughterA", would you still say "then you will never see my face again" or "then you will get no inheritance from me" or "well i will have to cut your inheritance to half of daughterA and i will never allow you to come to this house again. i want to see you go down in some water. that is the most important part! this is what is really important to me!".

i really think we have way too little information to base our decisions on, so we have to choose to live in a way that makes us happy, based on the information we have, no one can expect any more than that

again i relate it to my relationship between me and my children

i explain the rules, i tell them the reward for obedience and the consequences for disobedience, and why obedience to the rules is important

i dont just tell them to do something and say "just trust me"

it is unfair and unkind to keep them in the dark

i did kundalini reiki remote healing for a third person (hbh) today who is just temporarily sick with something going around.

kundalini reiki remote healing "project" 2

i have someone close to me in my family with an incurable disease, jrb, so yesterday (20100206) i did remote healing session 1 and today i have done session 2.

update: i did a third remote healing session last night 20100207. when im doing it im imagining myself standing next to the person and moving my hands in a counterclockwise motion to release bad energy, then reversing the motions and going clockwise to send good energy back into the persons body.

update: i did a fourth remote healing session today 20100208

update: i did a fifth remote healing session last night 20100208 while listening to a 0.5 Hz sine wave from my chakra and brainwave frequency audio collection and my mind seemed really clear and i felt really focused.

update: i did a sixth and seventh remote healing session today, 20100209, for jrb. the last one i was jerked out of suddenly because fabh started choking on a hotdog =) this last time i felt like i should rethink my "words" (inside my head) better and ask that whatever is causing the disease and its symptoms be removed from jrb's body and mind and emotions, instead of just "that the disease be removed".

update: i did an eighth remote healing session today, 20100211 for jrb. i expounded upon the words i found last time, in my mind, being even more detailed in what i wanted to remove and replace.

update: i did a ninth and tenth remote healing session yesterday and today, 20100213 and 20100214. this last time i tried wording it as if the disease had been taken away already.

god hardened pharaohs heart

interesting, i wonder why god would purposefully harden pharaohs heart? god sends moses to free israel, but then tells moses that he will make pharaoh not let israel go free:

And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

its obvious from this that freeing israel wasnt gods only purpose with moses' visit. its either something personal with ramses, moses or wanting to show miracles, probably a combination of everything.

god makes people dumb, deaf and blind

an interesting scripture i read today in the old testament. this is god talking to moses:

my kundalini reiki 3 attunement experience

i started by doing the normal kundalini reiki meditation first, then something came up and i was finally able to start the third attunement about an hour later. i listened to an alpha binaural beat with some earplug headphones while i was meditating, to help me concentrate because of some background noise. it helped. i tried concentrating on myself and on breathing slowly, deeply, holding my breath a couple of seconds in between each in and out breath and felt really relaxed and really away from the world after a while. it kind of reminded me of what ive heard about astral travel (ive never tried this before). i was just trying to travel around to different places in my mind and felt like i had tons of energy and wanted to just break/explode out of my body. my hands were tingling pretty much the whole time (they normally do when i meditate). i didnt feel any waves of energy coming into me, but it felt good anyways =) i did feel energy in my hands though.

earlier today, before my normal kundalini reiki meditation, i did a remote healing for someone close to me.

i began my new search for truth late last year after having seen many episodes of shows like studio fem - fra den andre siden, psychic kids, america's psychic challenge, and åndenes makt. i had also started to read about magick and became interested in the word occult, which i saw defined somewhere as a search for truth. i used that word as a base and started a blog called my search for truth (with the web address myoccultjourney.blogspot.com).

since then i have read many books and many articles on the web. i read one day the wikipedia article for cosmology, which is defined, in short, as the study of the universe. i immediately felt happy inside of me and felt that THIS was exactly what i want to study: everything! i could never get bored of that! i saw this because my "problem" (expressed as such by others, not by myself) has always been that i get interested in one thing and then learn enough about it to satisfy my curiosity, then something new comes along and i study this new subject. often i go back and revisit things i have studied before as my understanding grows (and my understanding that i didnt actually know enough about the subject as i should/wanted to). so i like to move around, i like intellectual freedom =)

then i saw a video by david sereda called evidence the case for nasa ufos (this is only a 5 minute preview, you need to go to another site to see the whole thing). the introduction to the video is by dan aykroyd. in his monologue, aykroyd mentions the word multiverse. the multiverse is a hypothetical collection of multiple possible universes that collectively comprise everything that physically exists. the word multiverse, the real everything, became my new focus.

i looked into buying one of these domain names: multiverse.org, multiverse.com, multiverse.net, etc. everything was taken and nothing was being used or being used in the manner of the context i have just described. then i got an idea from the open microblogging site i use quite frequently: identi.ca. why not look into getting a swedish top level domain? in norway you have to be a registered company to own a .no domain name, but just my "luck", such wasnt the case in sweden BUT the domain name was already owned BUT it expired in 3 days! it seemed too good to be true, that i was sure that it wouldnt be renewed by the previous owner because it was only being parked, it wasnt being used, and everything seemed to be right and feel right about this. multiver.se is perfect because there is nothing extra in the name, no .com or .org. sure enough it wasnt renewed and i bought it! so, welcome to the multiverse!

with my new focus on the multiverse, i saw it fit to change my blog address as well, so i have moved it here to amultiverse.blogspot.com. ill leave the old occult blog going for a while until this one is fully indexed, then ill delete it. but only a single day after moving it, 25% of it is already indexed in google. you might wonder why i chose amultiverse? well, every possible combination of multiverse by itself or together with the word blog or the has been taken, but amultiverse is short and actually it fits perfectly with the hypotheticalness of the term multiverse.

how to cleanse a ring of energy

i was watching the norwegian tv show studio fem - den andre siden last night and a lady on the show was ill and she gave her ring to 2 psychics on the show, gro helen tørum and lena ranehag, and they said the ring was filled with an enormous amount of energy, both bad and good, and that this might be what is causing this woman to be ill or at least compounding her illness. the ring is old and has been worn by several generations of women in this womans family so all their energy has been trapped in the ring. lena ranehag said that if you want to clean the ring of its stored energy then you put it in water with a spoonful of chunky salt (unground [grovsalt in norwegian]) and let it sit overnight.

my kundalini reiki remote healing experience

someone close in our family was found unconscious on a train the other day and was rushed to the hospital. he was diagnosed with a bleeding in the brain and was in a coma. i did kundalini reiki remote healing for him 3 times and he woke up the same day!
i focused on him waking up and being normal and that is exactly what happened. i envisioned where he was in the hospital, exactly where in the room, against which wall and facing a certain way and when i finally visited him in the hospital it was exactly how i had seen it in my mind =) i also envisioned myself standing next to his body in the hospital and moving my hands above his body in counter clockwise motions to take out bad energy and then afterwards in clockwise motions to replenish him with good energy. i give thanks to god and the universe for this experience. i still have not called in my kundalini reiki attunement 3 yet, so i did this remote healing as only an attunement level 2.

ive been sick the last couple of days so my meditation hasnt been "top quality". last night i fell asleep in bed doing 2.13.

elemental composition of spirit matter

im reading a book called teach yourself electricity and electronics fourth edition and it mentions hydrogen and helium and lithium as the lightest elements in the universe, in that order, and it got me to thinking about spirit matter. assuming it also is made up of the same elements as everything else in the universe, spirit matter should be detectable by testing/looking for the lightest elements in the periodic table of elements. doesnt that seem logical?

my kundalini reiki 2 attunement experience day 2.11 + 2.12

basically last night, 2.11 was the same as 2.7. i did it in bed and fell asleep.

tonight i did it sitting up on the sofa. i meditated exactly 9 minutes. i feel very clear in my mind, but i get thoughts all the time, reminders of things i have to do, etc. i'm not feeling the energy that the manual describes should be flowing into my body.

lds change of attitude towards other churches
