Vol. 10, p.111first off, if joseph smith was so innocent, why would brigham young use the deceptive words "was never proven guilty" instead of simply stating:
Joseph Smith, in forty-seven prosecutions was never proven guilty of
one violation of the laws of his country.
never violated any law of his country
?
oh wait....except for the time when he admitted to deception and was convicted of a misdemeanor?
